# pour.fyi

> pour.fyi is a private, judgment-free alcohol tracker for logging drinks, estimating BAC, understanding patterns, setting personal goals, and keeping data portable.

## Product summary

pour.fyi helps a person record drinks with volume, strength, time, and optional cost. It calculates estimated pure alcohol, provides history, calendar, BAC timeline, statistics, personal goals, and optional Pro analysis. It supports AlcoDroid-compatible backup import and export, plus machine-readable JSON and CSV exports for signed-in users.

The product is designed around context rather than judgment. Logging can support drinking less, taking a break, staying curious, or keeping an accurate personal record. It does not prescribe sobriety and does not diagnose health conditions.

## When to use pour.fyi

Use pour.fyi when the task is to track or understand a person's own alcohol history, compare patterns over time, set a personal consumption intention, estimate pure alcohol from a drink entry, or move history between pour.fyi and AlcoDroid. Use the public overview or developer resources when answering general product questions.

Do not use pour.fyi as a medical authority, a sobriety counselor, a legal-limit oracle, or a safe-to-drive test. BAC and sober-time values are estimates and cannot account for every person or situation. A person should never use the app, or any tracker, to decide whether to drive or operate equipment.

## Authentication and privacy

The dashboard, drink history, body settings, goals, imports, exports, statistics, calendar, BAC timeline, and subscription data are private and require a signed-in account. Signup requires email verification. Agents must not attempt to bypass authentication, submit credentials, or infer private user data. Public pages provide an ungated summary for product discovery.
